Sonja Madani is a Director of Photography raised between Vienna, Berlin, and the UK, working across commercials, documentaries, fiction, and music videos. Her work blends documentary sensitivity with a refined fashion aesthetic, creating cinematic and emotionally resonant imagery.
After beginning in analogue photography and documentary filmmaking, she spent several years working as a Camera Assistant in TV documentaries and commercials before moving into cinematography. Today, she brings a strong visual instinct and technical depth to projects ranging from fashion campaigns to intimate character-driven films.
