Florian Hofer, born on December 25, 1986 in Vienna, is a filmmaker known by his stage name Jetski. He has been working independently in the film industry since 2017 and has acquired extensive knowledge and skills as a self-taught artist. As a director and cameraman, he is responsible for the creative direction and technical implementation of film projects, including script development, directing and camera work.
He has successfully implemented projects for brands such as Ikea, Humanic, Raiffeisen and Vollpension. His work has been nominated multiple times at the Vienna Shorts Film Festival. Florian acquired his skills and knowledge through practice-oriented learning and independent experimentation, according to the “learning by failing” principle. Through this intensive learning process, he has continuously developed and grown into his professional identity as a jet ski.
He has experience in film production, including planning, script development, directing, cinematography and post-production. He is also adept at using DaVinci Resolve for video editing and special effects. Florian is also experienced in the independent handling and organization of film projects and in the development and implementation of creative concepts for advertising and short films
