Born in 1971 in Hannover, Germany, Marc Schölermann has directed numerous award winning television commercials and music videos for such clients as Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Toyota, Ferrero, Mazda, Volkswagen, Unilever, e-sixt.
Marc started his directing career in 1984 at the age of 13 shooting his own super8 movies and remaking films such as “raiders of the lost ark” and “indiana jones and the temple of doom”. Upon graduation he pursued to work in film production – from location manager to assistant director on various national and international television movies and feature films, e.g. “tomorrow never dies”.
In 1996 he enrolled into Filmakademie Ludwigsburg to study Directing and in 1998 was signed by german commercial production house Markenfilm for exclusive representation in Germany and Switzerland. His commercials have received numerous national and international awards and nominations including the Clio, Cannes Lions, Oneshow Pencil, Cresta Award, New York Festivals and Art Director's Club.
In 2007 Marc directed Lakeshore/MGM's “Pathology”, written by Neveldine/Taylor, starring Milo Ventimiglia, Alyssa Milano, Michael Weston and Lauren Lee Smith.
