„Das Institut – Oase des Scheiterns“ is a sitcom about a german cultural institution in a ficional central asian country named Kisbekistan. Six employees try to spread a positive image of Germany. Unfortunately the locals don’t want to participate in the programm the institution offers. Corruption, war, political crises! Everything that is going on in Kisbekistan seems to bother the natives more.
For the second time Tobias Datum is nominated for an EMMY AWARD for "Outstanding Cinematography For A Single Camera Series (Half Hour)".
Bel Canto, a hostage drama directed by Academy Award nominee Paul Weitz will open in cinemas across the US September 14.

„Smuggling Hendrix“ wins Best International Narrative Feature @Tribeca Film Festival
We are thrilled to announce that Smuggling Hendrix, directed by Mario Piperides, cinematography by our DoP Christian Huck – won at the Tribeca Film Festival for Best International Narrative Feature.
The feature – a Cypriot, Greece & German coproduction – also won the art award “Can We Turn Our Rage To Poetry” by Joan Snyder.Jury Comment: "For its unique, comedic exploration of a complicated absurd political situation told in a clear, personal compelling way, the Best International Narrative Feature Award goes to Smuggling Hendrix.”
