His spots expose everyday situations in a humorous, slightly dark, dispassionate way. Paul has great sensitivity and an ability to execute simple and banal scripts. He likes real life situations with a twist, where the tone is understated.
Before going solo in 2012 Paul was part of the directing duo Grøbert & Grøbert, who won the prestigious Young Director Award 2009 in Cannes with their humorous commercial "The Robbery" right away.
