Pat Borriello
was a moving helper, a barkeeper, a saxophonist in a jazz band, a radio host... in short, he tried everything. Until he finally discovered the art of film making. Now here his previous experience comes in quite handy. He learnt about people and their different perceptions of life, their interactions, emotions, feelings, desires, dreams, aspirations and the societal corset surrounding it.
All experiences which turned him into the director he is today. A self-determined, resourceful, open-minded creative who fell in love with telling stories and translating them into moving images.
His goal is to always tell outstanding, captivating stories by combining raw and authentic moments with a modern cinematic aesthetic. He immerses himself completely in a script to capture its essence in a powerful ecstatic rhythm consciously unfolding a holistic narrativ embracing emotions, moody visuals and sound.
His infectious energy, his child-like fascination and curiosity when it comes to film and music provided him the opportunity to work with artists like Pharrell Williams and brands such as McDonalds, Congstar, Mercedes-Benz, Adidas only to name a few.
Since he is a filmmaker by heart, he’s continuously working on his passion projects, and that now starts to bear fruit: his first short film, shot in Brooklyn NY last year, is about to be released shortly. Stay tuned.
