Linus Eklund was born in Stockholm in 1976 but moved with his family to Manchester for some years before returning home to the south suburbs of the Swedish capital. With a camera always in his hand he early developed a big interest for film photography. When he first saw ‘Pusher’ by Winding Refn and ‘The idiots’ by Von Trier, he was blown away and became a huge fan of the Danish scene and decided to apply to The National Film School of Denmark. Today Linus works with many different directors and enjoys the mix between small and big projects. Whether it’s shooting a feature on the Canary islands, TV-drama in Thailand, music videos or big commercials in India, nothing is less exciting or challenging for Linus.
