Christian Huck is a Berlin based cinematographer shooting features, commercials and music videos.
Christian’s work on “The Liechtenstein Saga“ was awarded with the Cannes TV Award for best docu-fiction in 2016. “Family”, an intense thriller directed by Israeli director Veronica Kedar, earned him a nomination for „BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY" at Raindance 2018. The film was part of the „The Future of Film is Female“ Series curated by
the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His work on “Smuggling Hendrix”, directed by Marios Piperides, has been shot in Cyprus and deals with the complexities of the political situation on the island. The film won the award for “Best International Narrative” in Tribeca 2018. His third feature film “Softness of Bodies” by American director Jordan Blady premiered at the LA Film Festival. Currently, he is working on “Sløborn“, a TV-series directed by Adolfo Kolmerer and Christian Alvart.
In the meantime Christian has been shooting commercials and music videos for clients like Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, Aldi, Absolut, Smart, Samsung, Adidas, Jaegermeister, Warner Music, Sony UK and many more.
